Louise Morgan

Louise Young Morgan, age 94, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 3, 2017. She was born in Buncombe County on November 25, 1922 to the late Charles and Althea Roberson Young.

Louise is preceded in death by her husband of sixty one years, Ray Morgan; four sons, Donald, Raymond, Jerry and Gary Morgan; two sisters and one brother; six grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Louise was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved to cook for her family. She spent countless hours in prayer for those she loved. Her faith in God was a constant encouragement to her family.

Left to cherish her memories are her three children, Sandra Robinson (Bob), Randy Morgan (Remona) and Doris Teachey (Hill). Also surviving Louise are fourteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren and twenty four great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service for Mrs. Morgan will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Ivan Baker officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place following the service at Providence United Methodist Church.
