Lori Anne Buchanan

Lori Anne Buchanan is 53 years old. She was a native of McDowell County, NC

Born on February 20, 1970, to the late James Cecil Buchanan and Blonnie Gilliam Buchanan. Passed away on January 22, 2024

In addition to her parents Lori is preceded in death by a brother Eric James Buchanan, a nephew Joshua Fitzgerald Collins, and the father of her son Richard Thomas “Rick” McCoy. Lori was a kind and amazing woman. She was a loving mother, a caretaker, and a free, independent spirit, old-fashioned but open minded and was a friend to many. Lori loved with her whole heart and was considered to be family by many. She will be missed by everyone that knew her.

Lori is survived by her son Eli Timothy McCoy, A sister Wendy Collins and her husband John, nieces Kandace Collins and Bethany Tucker, an aunt Loretta Buchanan, 10 great nieces/nephews, special cousins Angela Broadwell and Victoria Frady, her fur babies and many other extended family members.

In addition to her family Lori leaves behind special friends Kenny Taylor, Chamille Jackson, Patricia Mills, Amanda Sue Lambert, Erika Lambert, Tracey (Kuzo), Jennifer Reed, William, and Noreen Taylor.

There will be a celebration of life on February 20th at Wiseman View in McDowell County. The family will give further details at a later date.
