On the morning of Saturday, November 23, 2019, Mrs. Lola Fay Henline Schweitzer, age 82 of Lenoir, and formerly of Marion, took her Heavenly flight home with her loving family by her side. The daughter of the late Britton Henline and Pearl Good Henline, she was born in McDowell County on September 22, 1937.
Mrs. Lola had a passion for playing bingo and loved to watch church on her TV. She loved her family and her dog Susie whom is ten years old. Before she became sick, she loved to help others.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory five children, James Estep, of the home, Tommy Estep, of Lenoir, Joan Harris, of Morganton, Janie Mooney, of Morganton, and Tony Estep of Marion; one brother of Maryland, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service to celebrate Mrs. Lola’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will immediately follow the service at McDowell Memorial Park in Marion, where she will be laid to rest beside her loving family.
