Lisa Lynette Harvey Rose

Lisa Lynette Harvey Rose, 55, of Marion, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

She was born on June 24, 1968 in McDowell County. Lisa was a Certified Medical Assistant at McDowell Medical Associates. Her job was her passion, and she enjoyed helping patients. More than anything, she was wholly devoted to her family. She was a dedicated wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother who loved her grandchildren immensely. 

She is survived by her parents, Pat and Tommy Bolick of Marion, Leon Harvey of Black Mountain, and Roger and Patsy Childers of Nebo; her husband, Richie Rose of the home; three children, April Causby, Samantha Bennett, and Keith Rose; four grandchildren, Brianna Causby, Taylor Causby, Ayden Causby, and Kasen Rose; six siblings, Kevin Harvey, Cindy Childers, Todd Childers (Sabrina), Josh Childers (Angela), Shannon Brown, and TJ Bolick; and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Yancey Street Baptist Church. In accordance with her wishes, no formal service will be held.
