Linsey Desaray Burns

Linsey Desaray Burns, 21, of Marion departed this life unexpectedly on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

She was born in Rutherford County on December 8, 2003. Linsey worked as a patient care technician where her compassion and dedication shone brightly. She touched the lives of her family members and many friends with her kindness and infectious humor. She had a wonderful sense of humor that endeared her to those around her, and she will forever be remembered for her unique jokes that brought smiles to many faces.

In addition to her caring nature, Linsey had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought her joy. She found peace in fishing, relished the freedom of going for drives, and had a special bond with her beloved cat, whom she cared for with great affection. Her strong-willed personality and zest for life were evident in everything she did, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. Linsey will be remembered as a beautiful soul by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert Burns; and her maternal great-grandfather, Jim Condrey.

She is survived by her father, Christopher Burns (Rebecca Barnes); her mother, Kendra Helms (Justin); siblings, Brianna Burns, Skyler Burns, Hope Helms, Cassidy Helms, Addison Helms, and Alhanna Bailey; paternal grandmother, Terri Burns; maternal grandparents, Bill and Iris Condrey; aunts, Cheyanne Condrey (Daniel) and Bailey Condrey (Cory); uncles, Cody Burns, Harlan Barnes, and Skyler McCurry; several nieces and nephews who she cherished very much; and a special great-grandmother, Clara Larry.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service, followed by a funeral service which will begin at 12:00 noon.
