Linda Dale Reep

Linda Dale Taylor Reep, age 78, of Marion, North Carolina passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Born in McDowell County on July 9, 1938, Linda was born to the late Hoyle and Martha Solomon Taylor.

She is preceded in death by her two sisters, Margaret Taylor and Shirley Loveday; a brother, Reverend Fred Taylor; daughter, Martha Reep Barber and her grandson, Mark Barber.

Linda was a member of Gethsemane Free Will Baptist Church in which she served many capacities such as, being a wonderful pastor’s wife, clerk and Sunday school secretary. She loved her family especially her great-grandchildren Braelyn and Piper.

Left to cherish her memories here on this earth are her husband of sixty years, Reverend Ralph Reep; one grandson, Matthew Barber and wife Julie and two great-grandchildren, Braelyn and Piper Barber.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at McDowell Memorial Park with her husband Reverend Ralph Reep officiating.
