Linda Pittman

Linda Stamey Pittman, age 73, of Marion, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the McDowell Hospital.  A native of Mitchell County, North Carolina, born October 4, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Ester Stamey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Pittman.

A loving mother, grandmother, and caring friend, Linda was known to have collected all types of “knick-knacks”; and was a well-organized lady. 

She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Osbon (Bryan); three sons, Dennis Pittman (Martha), Tracy Pittman (Laurie Kehler) and Jason Davis; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service in Marion.  A celebration of Miss Linda’s life will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Reverend Pat Buchanan officiating.
