Linda Williams Hollifield

Linda Williams Hollifield, 69, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at her home with her loving granddaughter by her side.

She was born in Waverly, Ohio on December 12, 1951 to the late Bill Williams and Velda Keaton Williams. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Billie Jo Littleton.

A member of Charity Mission Free Will Baptist Church, Linda loved the Lord with all her heart, and she had a passion for music ministry. She traveled many miles over 5 states singing with her group, Cornerstone. She loved her family as well, and she enjoyed spending time with them. Linda was talented with baking and crafts, and she liked to tend to her garden.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Presley Rick Hollifield; one daughter, Lori Annette Hollifield; one grandchild, Morgan Alexis Hollifield, who was thought of as a daughter; one great granddaughter, Brayleigh Faye Wyatt; sisters, Violet Elaine Vandergriff (Kenneth), Barbara Payne, Carolyn Smartt, Wanda Arnold, Diana Townsend (Jerry), Rhonda Demint, Carol Sue Bratcher, and Dana Neddeau (Mark); and all of her extended family and her Christian family.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Charity Mission Free Will Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. with Revs. Dennis Hensley, Richard Cole, and David Kell officiating. Burial will follow at Muddy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m.
