Linda Hensley Hawkins

Linda Hensley Hawkins, 72, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Mission Hospital McDowell.

She was born July 12, 1949 in McDowell County to the late Hasque Hensley and Gladys Carroll Hensley.

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Linda enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed tending to her flowers. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Zachary Stevens.

She is survived by her husband of 42 year Ben Hawkins; two children, Allen Stevens (Brandi) and Donald Stevens (Tammy); seven grandchildren, Haley Frizsell (Daniel), Amanda Woody (Dillon), Chrissy Cline (Chris), Bradley Mauney, Aiden Mauney, and Jason Mauney; and seven great grandchildren, Shane, Skylar, Mason, Jackson, Lucas, Avery, and Etta.

A private graveside service will be held at McDowell Memorial Park.
