Linda May Farmer

Mrs. Linda Godfrey Farmer, age 63, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Linda was born in Gaston County on February 24, 1955 to Mary Coco Godfrey and the late William Edwin Godfrey.

Linda was a longtime member of the Independent Baptist Tabernacle in Dallas, North Carolina. She was known as a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Linda had a passion for cooking, especially for family get togethers. She will be missed by all that knew her.

In addition to her mother Linda is survived by her husband of fourteen years, James Farmer Jr.; four children Jimmy Farmer (Teresa), Mike Farmer, Shree Nicholson (Brian) and Ryan Farmer; two sisters, Jackie Rhyne (Bruce), Susan King (Richard); one brother, Andy Godfrey (Angela); one grandson, Braylon Nicholson; numerous nieces and nephews; her two canine companions Fancy and Sampson.

A memorial service in Linda’s honor will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Independent Baptist Tabernacle in Dallas, North Carolina with the Reverends Cecil Spry and Ralph Carver officiating.
