Lila Mae Davis

Lila Mae Davis, age 93, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on the morning of Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation in Nebo.  The daughter of the late Lewis and Nancy Norris Davis, she was born in Haywood County, North Carolina on August 09, 1927. 

She was preceded in death by, in addition to her parents, two sisters, Hazel Presley and Bonnie Wilson, who she was very close to and when you saw one, you saw both.   

Lila, who loved everyone she met, was always baking cakes and pies for her family and friends, never expecting anything in return.  

She is survived by her three sons, George R. Davis, Roger D. Davis and Butch Davis; one sister, Betty Jean Lyda (Fred); and one brother, Bob Davis.  Lila is also survived by her five grandchildren, Amy Maske (Keith), Kim McRae, Stephanie Davis, Jennifer Banks (Tim) and Rodney Davis; three great grandchildren, Chris Maske, Brandon Maske and Reva McRae; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Lila truly loved her family. 

A private graveside will be at McDowell Memorial Park.
