Leonard Wayne Ingram

Leonard Wayne Ingram, 44, of Morganton, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024. 

Leonard was born in Avery County on June 23, 1979 to the late Jace Ingram and the late Leona Estie McCellan Ingram. 

Leonard was known as a good old country boy who loved nature.  Fishing, hunting and gardening were some of his favorite pass times. He was a great storyteller who enjoyed having conversations with others. Leonard loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Surviving Leonard are his two sisters, Janet McPeters and Lisa Ingram.

Preceding him in death including his parents are two sisters, Linda Ingram and Judy Brittian and brothers, Jack, Julius, John, Jace Jr., Lambert, Jeff and James Van Ingram.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 33 Hedgewood Drive, Marion, NC at 4:00 p.m.
