Laura Dolores Burgos

Laura Dolores Burgos, 80, of Rutherfordton, passed away at Mission McDowell on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Laura was born on December 07, 1943 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Jose Luis Burgos and Herminia Berrios who preceded her in death.

Laura worked for Eastern Airlines as a stewardess which fit her outgoing personality perfectly. She always enjoyed helping others which meant a lot to her. Watching her son Jorge race cars was something she loved doing. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Jorge Torres (Angelica); her brother, Fernando Burgos; and grandchildren, Aaron Torres, Sara Torres, Itzel Torres, Ryan Torres, Joally Torres and Joel Torres.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 1:00 until 3:00 at Beam Funeral Service.
