Larry Joe Barnhart

Larry Joe Barnhart, 83, of Marion, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday morning, April 8, 2025 at Autumn Care of Drexel.

He was born on March 11, 1942 to the late Horace Barnhart and Mary Hunnicutt Barnhart.

Larry was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, having served honorably from 1960 to 1964. He earned the rank of Airman First Class during his time in service. He spent his career as a small electronics repairman. Larry was a very talented and avid guitarist. He was a faithful and loving son, brother, and uncle who will be missed dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Joyce Stone Barnhart, who passed away in 2016, as well as a brother, Bob Barnhart.

He is survived by his sister, Nadean B. Jenkins; two nieces, Crystal Taylor and Brenda Isenhour; and one nephew, Keith Estes.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at McDowell Memorial Park. Rev. David Kell will officiate.
