LaDonne Turner

LaDonne Church Turner, age 51, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away at her residence on the morning of Monday, February 19, 2018 following a brief illness.  Born in McDowell County, North Carolina on October 29, 1966, she was the daughter of Harold Church of Marion and the late Wanda McCalister Church.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Ryder Williams.

A faithful wife and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, LaDonne, who truly loved her “grandbabies”, enjoyed spending time outdoors and camping with her family.  She was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church of Marion. 

Left to cherish her memories, in addition to her father, Harold Church and his wife, Louise; her loving husband of 16 years, Kevin Turner; step-mother, Susie Church; five children, Danielle Stevenson, Tyler Stevenson (Sarah), Laramie Stevenson, Katie Turner and Tyler Turner; three brothers, Lloyd Church, Mike Church (Kim) and Jason Church (Yvonne); and one sister, Yvonne Wiseman (Mike).  LaDonne is also survived by her seven precious grandchildren, with one expected in March; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends. 

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Marion with Rev. Ray Stockton and Mr. Mike Church officiating.
