Kim Surratt

On Friday, April 14, 2017, following a battle with cancer, Kim Biddix Surratt, loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister who lived a full life, passed away at her residence at the age of 40. 

Born in McDowell County, North Carolina on November 29, 1976, she was the daughter of Charles E. Biddix of Marion and Lois Smith Biddix of Morganton.

Kim is survived by, in addition to her parents, four children, Jordan Surratt of Marion, Cameron Surratt of Marion, Madison Gonzalez of Marion and Gabriel Gonzalez of the home; one brother, Charlie Biddix and wife Crystal of Marion; one granddaughter and one grandchild on the way; one niece, Christin Biddix, also survives. 

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Freewill Baptist Church, 2252 Nix Creek Road in Marion.
