Kermit Gordon Elliott

Kermit Gordon Elliott, age 76, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at his residence.  The son of the late Jack and Rena Elliott, he was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on December 15, 1943.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Dean Elliott and James Donald Elliott; and two nephews, Richard Elliott and Jack Elliott.

Known as being a laid back and simple man, Kermit is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Pritchard-Creedle (Miracle); one son, Kevin Elliott; one brother, Jackie Elliott (Wanda); two sisters, Julia Hensley and Linda Hensley; two grandsons, Christopher Pritchard and Christopher Parks; special nephew, David Elliott; along with numerous nieces and nephews.  Mr. Elliott is also survived by a special friend of many years, Ducie Pardur-Watts.   

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service.  Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
