Kenneth Robert Rose

Kenneth Robert Rose, 65, of Swannanoa, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at CarePartners Solace Center in Asheville.

Kenneth was born on November 06, 1958 to his late parents Robert Rose and Minnie Sue Branch Rose. He is also preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Loudermilk Rose, two sisters, Shelia Davis and Jackie Jenkins and a brother, Randall Rose.

He loved being outdoors and was very interested in horticulture. Being an outdoorsman he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Kenneth spent much of his time looking for and finding Native Artifacts. His greatest joy were his kids and grandkids who will miss him greatly. 

Left to cherish his memory are his four children, Amanda Gouge (Jason), Misty Rose, Megan Rose (Brandon Lee) and James Allen Rose; his brother, Terry Rose (Wendy); his five grandchildren, Caleb, Peyton, Jayden, Lilly and Jenetta; and a great grandson, Asher.

A graveside service will take place at Snow Hill Cemetery on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Steinel officiating.
