Kenneth E Rhinehardt

Kenneth E. Rhinehardt, Jr, age 78, passed away at his residence Saturday, March 2, 2019. Ken was born December 27, 1940 in McDowell County, North Carolina to the late Kenneth E. Rhinehardt, Sr. and Mary Allison Rhinehardt.

Ken was formerly employed at Drexel Heritage and later retired from Crane Resistoflex. He enjoyed golfing and watching Carolina sports. Ken graduated from Old Fort High School and attended UNC Chapel Hill. He was a member of Pleasant Gardens Baptist Church.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Nona Justice Rhinehardt; Daughter Alyse R Mosca (Carl) Grandson Anthony Mosca; Sister, Mary Lynn McClure (Terry); Nephews Frank, Steve, Matthew, Terry; Nieces Kim and Frances; Sister-in-laws Frances Beckendorf (Don), Mary Owensby (Charles), and Judy Webb (Gary); and many cherished cousins and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate Ken’s life will take place on Thursday March 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service 2170 Rutherford Rd. Marion, North Carolina 28752, with Reverend Gary Webb officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. A private interment will take place at McDowell Memorial Park.
