Kay "Nonie" Stevenson

In the early morning hours of Monday, January 30, 2017 while surrounded by her family, Kay “Nonie” Stevenson of Marion, North Carolina, passed away at her residence at the age of 72. Born in Pomona, California on December 18, 1944, she was the daughter of Mary Ellen Stevenson of Marion and the late Leonard Stevenson.

A loving daughter, mother, “nonie” and sister, Kay, for over 30 years, owned and operated Headlines Ltd. (hair salon) on Main Street in Marion.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Michele Diane Shaw and Patricia Lynn McEntire; one brother, Jerry Leonard Stevenson; and her two precious grandchildren, Joshua Devin McNeill and Sydney Ellen McEntire.
