Kay Fowler, age 47, of Bostic, North Carolina, departed to be the Lord and to celebrate the holiday season with her parents, Bob and Sylvia Dean Dayberry Fowler, on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Kay passed away at her residence with her loving family at her side. She was born in Boiling Springs, North Carolina on February 28, 1973.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Hettie Fowler.
A good-hearted soul, Kay was a free-spirited woman who was loved by everyone. She was of the Baptist faith and had attended Fork Creek Baptist Church in Union Mills at an early age.
Kay is survived by two sons, Robert Fowler and his wife, Mindy and Joseph Nelon; one daughter shared with Donna and Stephen Dufresne, Tiffany Dufresne; three grandchildren, Conner and Jaxson Hall and Liam Gallion; and one brother, Danny Dayberry and his wife, Alecia. She is also survived by two nephews, Chance Dayberry and Tyler Dayberry; aunt and uncle, Mary and CG Biggerstaff; three close cousins, Anisa Hall and her husband, Justin, Betty Jo Gallion and her husband, Wesley and Cody Gallion and his wife, Natasha; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and family members.
A celebration of Kay’s life will be held on Saturday, January 02, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Fork Creek Baptist Church in Union Mills with Pastor Andy Evans and Pastor Stephen Dufresne officiating.
