Kathy Shell

On March 19, 2020, Kathy Lynn Mash Shell passed away after a long battle of cancer. She was born on July 19, 1954 in Marion, North Carolina. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Ted Mash and Rachel Mash; and her husband, Wallace Shell.

Kathy leaves behind her daughter, Stephanie Shell Camby and her husband, Clifford; her life companion, Tommy Cranford; one sister, Shirley Mash Smith and her husband, Randy; sister-in-law, Carolyn Dehart and her husband, Bill; sister-in-law Rachel Autry and her husband, Jack; brother-in-law, Danny Shell and his wife, Angie. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Kathy was faithful to her lord and savior. She will be remembered most by her kindness and loving care to all that she met in this life and her beautiful smile.

A service to the celebrate the life of Kathy will be held on Monday, March 23, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Glenwood Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Brewer, Dr. Eric Grindstaff and Dr. Dennis Love officiating.  Interment will follow at McDowell Memorial Park. 

A private gathering of immediate family will be held prior to the service.
