Kathy Lynn Bradburn

Kathy Lynn Bradburn, age 61, of Marion, North Carolina passed away at St. Joseph’s Campus in Asheville on Monday, February 27, 2017. She was born on March 14, 1955 to the late Alvin and Elizabeth Cole Bradburn.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Steve Bradburn and her sister Linda Buchanan.

Kathy was a member of Cross Memorial Baptist Church. She loved her pets and enjoyed reading and talking on the phone.

Kathy is survived by her brother David Bradburn (Jessie); one nephew, Steven Bradburn (April); one aunt, Christine Proctor and two uncles, J.C. and Leonard Cole. She is also survived by her close friends, Andrea Turbyfill and Ann Carroll.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Cross Memorial Baptist Church with the Reverends Ryan Bennett and Doug Prevette officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place after the service at McDowell Memorial Park.
