Katherine Queen Woody

Katherine Darlene Queen Woody, age 62, of Nebo, North Carolina passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Woody was born January 2, 1956 in Avery County, NC to the late Clair Arthur Queen and Pearl Huskins Queen.  She retired from Baxter Healthcare.  She loved being outdoors, playing with her dogs and going to NASCAR races with her daughters.  She also enjoyed a good tomato biscuit and she could drink coffee from sun up to sun down.

Left behind to cherish Mrs. Woody’s memories are her beloved husband, Bruce Ivan Woody and two daughters, Erika Dawn Woody and Megan Deanna Woody and fiancé, Cody Lee Bishop.
