Karen Rebecca Wells

Karen Rebecca Willis Wells, age 60, of Marion, North Carolina passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation.

Karen was born October 16, 1957 in Lancing, MI to the late Pat Willis and Bertie Ellen Roland Willis.  She was a great cook and enjoyed arts and crafts.  She had a good heart and was a wonderful mother to her daughter and son-in-law.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Raymond Wells, Jr. and her sister, Patsy Thigpen.

Left behind to cherish Karen’s memories are her daughter, Jennifer Willis and husband, Ronald McLendon; adopted daughters, Dorothy Dixon and Danielle Robinson; five grandchildren, Amelia Willis Dixon, Brandon Willis, Cassidy Willis, Ethan Dixon and Emily Dixon; one brother, Chris Willis and wife, Jerri; one sister, Debbie Willis; a special niece, Kaylynn Willis; a special nephew, Michael Willis; and several other nieces and nephews.
