Judy Ann Swafford Wyatt, age 67, of Nebo, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 04, 2017 at her residence with her loving family at her side. A native of McDowell County, born April 08, 1950, Judy was the daughter of the late John and Estelle Henson Swafford.
Judy enjoyed planting and tending to her flowers, traveling with her family and friends; and going out and dancing. Judy, up until her health began to decline, was an active member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Marion.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Wyatt of the home; two sons, John Bradley (Tammy) of Nebo and Mike Bradley (Dina) of Nebo; three step-children, Teri Solomita (Ken) of Greensboro, Steven Wyatt (Venita) of Burnsville and Jamie Wyatt of Marion; and one brother, Melvin Swafford (Harriett) of Columbia, SC. Judy is also survived by five grandchildren, Amber Hollifield (Hobert), Ranin Bradley, Kaitlin Duncan, Kyle Bradley and Madison Bradley; six step-grandchildren, BJ Wyatt, Megan Wyatt, Mallory Wyatt, Justin Solomita, Ethan Solomita and Evan McMahan; and seven great grandchildren, Ellie, Elijah and Hunter Hollifield, Everly, Cheyenne and Eden Wilkinson and Allie Wyatt.
A celebration of Miss Judy’s life will be held on Friday, September 08, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church of Marion with Pastor Brian Bird officiating.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in Mrs. Wyatt’s memory are asked to consider, First Free Will Baptist Church’s Vision Fund, 965 Baldwin Avenue, Marion, North Carolina 28752.
