Judy Nodine

Judy Berryhill Nodine, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at her residence in Nebo with her family by her side at the age of 71. The daughter of the late JB and Myrtle Creasy Berryhill, she was born in McDowell County, North Carolina on February 12, 1946.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Gilbert; and one grandson, Spencer Austin Shelton.

A member of Freedom Baptist Church in Dysartsville, Judy enjoyed sewing and watching her soap operas, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 39 years, James Nodine of the home; four children, Haley Shelton and her husband, Tony of Nebo, Jamie Nodine and his wife, Nancy of Nebo, Penny Vaughan and her husband, Scott of Marion; and Barry Nodine and his fiancé, Debbie Steadham of Grover, North Carolina; two brothers, Gary Berryhill and his wife, Jane of Nebo and Alvin Berryhill of Marion; and one sister, Shelia McPeters of Marion.  Judy is also survived by her fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews, and her special friend, Carol Epley.
