Judy Lynn Spurlin Elliott

Judy Spurlin Elliott, age 70, of Marion, North Carolina passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Mission Hospital-McDowell. A native of McDowell County, Judy was born on October 3, 1950 to the late Everette and Eugenia Hardin Spurlin.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Danny Elliott and one brother, Tony Spurlin.

Judy was a loving mother, sister and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and was known as “Grammy Judy”. She also loved her little dog “Gracie”.

She is survived by two children, Joey Elliott and Jeremy Elliott (Taisha); three siblings, Gary Spurlin, Rita Faison and Tina Spurlin. Also surviving Judy are her three grandchildren, Elizabeth Elliott, Emily Elliott and Landan Elliott.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Nix Creek Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Daniel McMahan officiating.
