Judith Elaine Allen Lindsay

Judith Elaine Allen Lindsay, 88, of Nebo, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023 at Deer Park Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born in Sullivan County Tennessee on December 28, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Archie D. Allen and Julia Elizabeth Huffaker Allen.

Judy retired from Drexel Furniture. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Marion where she enjoyed sharing her musical talents by playing the piano and singing. She will be remembered as a fervent prayer warrior. Judy had a special place in her heart for her cats.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Willie Harris, Lester Hunley Gerald Allen and James D. Allen, who was her twin. Her children, Janell Ballard and Jerald Lindsay, also preceded her in death.

She is survived by two nephews, Archie and Fred Allen, sister-in-law, Libby Hunley; special friend, Carolyn Fender; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Lambs Fold Cemetery, 1800 John Smith Road, Columbus, North Carolina.
