Juanita Waldroup

Juanita Davis Waldroup, age 76, of Marion, North Carolina, departed to be with the Lord on the morning of Friday, June 14, 2019 at her residence.  The daughter of the late Leonard and Lena Frye Davis, she was born in Spruce Pine, North Carolina on May 08, 1943.

A devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, Juanita was a friend to anyone in need; and always wanted to make a loving environment for everyone. 

Juanita, who loved the Lord and especially her family, is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Ernest Lee Waldroup; two sons, Tony Waldroup (Christina) and Scott Waldroup (Tracy); two brothers, Wayne Davis and Bobby Davis; and four sisters, Revonda Hubbard, Carolyn Waldroup, Gladys Dutton and Patsy Dutton.  She is also survived by her four loving grandchildren, Aaron Waldroup, Ashley English, Christopher Waldroup and Scotty Waldroup; one great granddaughter, Ivyonna Waldroup and one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor David Edwards and Pastor Bob Alexander officiating.  Interment will follow at Murphy’s Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
