Joyce Barnhart

Joyce Stone Barnhart, age 73, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation in Nebo.  Born in Buncombe County, North Carolina on August 16, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Ila Allen Stone. 

A loving wife and sister, Joyce enjoyed spending time working in her garden.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Darrell Stone.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 45 years, Larry J. Barnhart; three brothers, Richard Stone, David Stone and Dennis Stone; a sister-in-law, Nadean Jenkins; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 01, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at McDowell Memorial Park with Rev. Ray Broome officiating.
