Joshua Fitzgerald Collins

Joshua Fitzgerald Collins, 38, went to be with the Lord on Monday March 27^th, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on January 23^rd, 1985 in McDowell County.

Josh lived his life to the fullest and never met a stranger. He had a brilliant mind and many talents. He loved cooking, fishing and working outdoors. Those who were fortunate enough to be a part of Josh’s life, knew they had a beloved friend forever. He was a caring and warmhearted son, father, brother, uncle and nephew. He was loved beyond compare by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Johnathan and Wendy Collins; children, Elizabeth, Isabella and James Wyatt; expected son, Joshua Collins, Jr.; sisters, Kandice Stevenson (Trey) and Bethany Tucker (Billy); fiancé, Amanda Taylor; aunts, Becky Gardin and Lori Buchanan, and a vast amount of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.

The family will receive friends at Beam Funeral Service on Saturday, April 8^th, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm. A memorial service will follow receiving of friends at 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
