Josh Brandon Pritchard

Josh Brandon Pritchard, age 37, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021.  The son of Max Alan Pritchard of Spruce Pine, North Carolina and the late Rose Marie Sellers, he was born in Marion, North Carolina on January 12, 1984.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ruth Ellen Pritchard. 

Josh was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed nature in itself.  He loved fishing, riding four-wheelers, archery and collecting all types of antiques.  Josh was a self-employed landscaper, which he took great pride in. 

He is survived by his father, Max Alan Pritchard (Crystal); two sons, Brandon Issac Staley of Nebo and Joshua Andrew Pritchard of Marion; one daughter, Harlow Wynter David of Glen Alpine; paternal grandfather, Herbert Hoover Pritchard of Boone; and maternal grandmother, Martha R. Sellers of Marion.  Josh is also survived by his four siblings, Travis Sellers (Melissa) of Hickory, Brandy Pritchard (Ralph Childers) of Marion, Stephen Pritchard of Greensboro and Emma Sizemore (Adam) of Tennessee; one niece, Kainen Roland; three nephews, Christian and Devin Sellers and Wyatt Sizemore; and his aunts and uncles, Dr. Janice and Elmer Macopson, Mike Pritchard, Phillip Pritchard, Terry and Holly Pritchard, and Libby Johnson. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service and Crematory.  A private graveside service will be held.
