Joseph Michael Boyce

Joseph (Joe) Michael Boyce, 52, of Marion, North Carolina passed away January 2, 2024.  

Joe was born June 9, 1971, in Tacoma, Washington to John Talmadge Boyce and Jessie Ruth Boyce.

He graduated from McDowell High School in 1989 and later moved to Asheville.  He enjoyed football.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, John and Jessie Boyce.

Joe was the youngest sibling of Detra Denise Hooper (Robert Sr.) of Marion, NC; Willie (Jeff) Duke Stroud, Jr. of Bostic, NC; and Christopher Talmadge Boyce (Norman) of Asheville, NC.  He also had one niece, Jessica Loftis (Matt) of Marion, NC; and three nephews, Jarrod Hausley of Old Fort, NC; Robert Hooper, Jr. (Jessica) of Marion, NC; and Darius Hooper (Jacque) of Mooresville, NC.  Additionally, there are also several cousins, aunts, other family members, and friends left to cherish his memory.

After moving to Asheville, he worked at Continental in Mills River.  

A private family memorial will be held at McDowell Cemetery.
