Jonathan Ray Wilson

Jonathan Ray Wilson, 37, of Old Fort, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville.

He was born in McDowell County on January 21, 1985 to the late Theodore Hutchins and Rhonda Kay Wilson.

Jonathan loved fishing, and he was an avid fan of NASCAR racing and football. Spending time with his family was one of his greatest joys in life.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandmother, Faye Rabb; and an aunt, Debbie Jones.

He is survived by his special friend and companion, Billie Mitten; sister, Heather Grogan; uncle, David Jones (Ronda); and a cousin, Amy Dale.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
