Jonathan Drake

Jonathan Carl Drake, 38, of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 in Morganton.

Mr. Drake was born in Lincolnton, NC, on July 11, 1983, to Tyron and Tammy Drake. He was a fence installer with Fences by Eddie for fourteen years. He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church #2 in Morganton. He loved his Mustang and his motorcycles, but most of all, he loved and adored his children. They were his world.

Mr. Drake was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Laura and John Drake; and four uncles, Charles, Blaine, Burl, and Richard Drake.

Survivors include his parents, Tyron and Tammy Drake; his maternal grandmother, Mary Story; eight sons, Bubba (Dez), Jamie (Tiffany), Cole, Brentley, Jaxson, Elijah, Bryson, and Avery; three daughters, Brooke, Katlyn, and Taylor; two sisters, Jessica and Jennifer Drake; two grandsons, Gauge and Korbin; three nieces, Tracy, Courtney, and Allison; three nephews, Trevor, Kevin, and Gracin; two great nieces, Ariyah and Lucy; his life long friend, David Dyer; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday January 5, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with the Brother Ralph Shuffler officiating.
