Johnny Ray Michael

Johnny Ray Michael, age 54, of Morganton, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, January 03, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Rowan County, North Carolina on May 02, 1966 to Johnny Daniel Ludwick and Phyllis Kaye Goodman Bradshaw.

Johnny was a carpenter by trade and was also a great mechanic who could fix anything. He loved spending time outdoors and had a love for fishing, mud-slinging, and riding motorcycles and ATV’s. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, and brother.

He is preceded in death by a son, Bryson Fox.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 29 years, Pam Hipps Michael; children, William Ray Michael (Brittany) and Jannell Peterson (Ryan); eight grandchildren, Braden, Hayden, Anson, Aryanna, William Jr., Ansley, Alex, and Lexy; and a niece and nephew, Reva and Ethan.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
