John Reynolds Victor

John Reynolds Victor, age 82, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville.  A native of Delaware County, Indiana, he was born on February 11, 1938 to the late James Burelison and Marie Payne McCeary. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Victor; one sister, Reba Stewart; and two brothers, George Payne and Victor Payne.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, John is survived by one daughter, Amber Cox (Patrick); three sisters, Dorothy Robbins, Mary Humphery and Pauline Crain; three grandchildren, P.J. Cox, Katlin Cox and Michael Cox; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In keeping with John’s wishes, no services are planned.
