John Lenn Hodges

John Lenn Hodges, 38, of Mooresboro, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

He was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on June 22, 1985 to Linda Marie Howard Henson and the late Ronnie Lenn Hodges.

John was an avid outdoorsman. He loved camping, fishing, and enjoying time by the bonfire with family and friends. The mountains brought him the most joy. He had a unique sense of humor that always made him the life of the party. He will also be remembered for his unique accent.

In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his stepfather, William Russell Henson; and an uncle, Raymond Hodges.

Along with his mother, Linda Henson, he is survived by his wife, Debra Horn Hodges; two daughters, Ashley Hodges and Makayla Spears (Caleb Stafford); grandchildren, Nathaniel Stafford and Silas Stafford; his sister, Crystal Moore; four nieces and nephews, Brayden Taylor, Arianna Moore, Kendall Moore, and Bentley Moore; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins who meant the world to him.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
