John Gregory Hagenah

John Gregory Hagenah, 67, of Erwin, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the Cranberry House in Newland, North Carolina.

John was born on March 31, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Rufus Herman Hagenah and Nadine Helen Howard Hagenah. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Suzanne Renee McClain. He grew up in Cole Camp, Missouri.

John loved working and had worked on the railroad and as a welder. He enjoyed playing the guitar and being with his family.

He is survived by his son, Ian Hagenah; his sister, Sarah Birchfield; stepdaughter, Mindy Yates; several grandchildren; one great grandchild; and special niece and nephew, Jenny Doty and Dylan Birchfield along with many more.
