John "Allen" Self

Mr. John "Allen" Self, age 91, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Deer Park Health and Rehabilitation in Nebo.
A member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Marion, Allen enjoyed painting, fishing, and playing his guitar.
Allen is survived by nieces; nephews; his church family; and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Marion with Joseph Frobose, one of the local elders, officiating.
