Joel William Robinette

 Joel W. Robinette, age 73, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025, after a lengthy illness.

 Joe was born March 30, 1951, in Marion, NC, to the late Harold J. and Sallie Robinette. Joe retired from the carbon plant in Morganton and after years of helping his father in the masonry business. Other than his parents, preceding Joe in Death are his sisters, Dorothy Owensby, Linda Lewis, Laura Hall, Evelyn Southern, and Joan Penley; and his brother, Jack Owensby.

 Joe is survived by his children, Lacie and Joel Robinette; his brothers, John Robinette and wife Dorothy, James Robinette and wife Deborah, and Jerry Robinette and wife Debbie; his sisters, Nadean Penland and husband John, Jewel Robinette, and Angel Lewis; and a number of nieces and nephews.

 A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. Inurnment will follow at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
