Jimmy Dean Presnell

Jimmy Dean Presnell, 62, of Marion, passed away at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital on Friday morning, June 19, 2020

A lifelong resident of McDowell County, Mr. Presnell was born to Jacqueline Presnell and the late Kenneth Lee Presnell, Sr. on August 16, 1957.

Jimmy was of the Baptist faith, and he enjoyed cooking. He was a cook at Western Sizzlin Steakhouse for many years. He truly loved spending time with family and friends, and he enjoyed the beauty of the beach.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Parker and Martha Patterson; and one brother, Kenneth Lee Presnell, Jr.

Jimmy is survived by, in addition to his mother, two sisters, Wanda McNeill and Teresa Goode. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law also survive.

In accordance with his wishes, no services are scheduled at this time.
