Jessie Faye Haynes

Jessie Faye Haynes, age 73, of Morganton, North Carolina passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 at Autumn Care of Drexel.

Jessie was born December 25, 1945 in McDowell County, NC to the late Benjamin Boyd Haynes and Lillie Mae Leakey Haynes.   She loved to travel especially to the mountains and beach.  Spending time with her family and grandchildren always meant a lot to her.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her grandson, Jordan Effler.

Those left behind to cherish Jessie’s memory are two children, Samantha Parrow (Louis) and Jason Effler (Ann); two sisters, Ada Hester (David) and Lois Jean Blakely (Randall); one brother, Boyd Haynes, Jr. (Beverly); three grandchildren, Bridget, Faith and Daylen Parrow; and one great grandson, Rylen Todd.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Beam Funeral Service.  A funeral service to celebrate Jessie’s life will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the service at Rocky Pass Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
