Jerry Junior Trantham

Jerry Junior Trantham, age 68, of Marion, NC passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Trantham was born November 30, 1949 in Catawba County, NC to Evelyn McMahan Dalton and to the late Merrit Junior Trantham.  He worked as a handyman and enjoyed fixing anything mechanical. 

In addition to his mother, left behind to cherish his memories are his beloved wife, Doris Adams Trantham; five children, Jeff Trantham (Candice), Bo Trantham (Tammy), Chris Trantham, Johnny Trantham (Sabrina) and Darren Adams (Crystal); one brother, Gary Trantham (Cora); one sister, Charlotte Roddy (Greg); eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory.  A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Duncan officiating.  Burial will follow the funeral service at Murphy’s ChapelCemetery
