Jerry Wayne Hurst Sr.

Jerry Wayne Hurst, Sr. age 60, of Marion, North Carolina passed away on the evening of Sunday, December 1, 2019. The son of George Washington Hurst and Nannie Mae Powers, he was born in Bell County, Kentucky on November 02, 1959.

Jerry is preceded in death by sisters; Joyce Hurst Mason and Betty Hurst Bullins; brothers; Arlie Partin and Cecil Partin.   

Jerry’s daughter Mary and his grandchildren was his world. He was known as a generous and thankful man he will be missed greatly by his family.

Jerry is survived by his two children; Mary Hurst McLaughlin and Jerry Wayne Hurst Jr.; three brothers; Joe Hurst, Larry Hurst, and Alfred Hurst; four grandchildren; Timothy Kirby, Jacob Kirby, Kylee Kirby, and Emma McLaughlin and one great grandson Zander Craig Kirby.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Beam Funeral Service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
