Jennifer Watson

Jennifer Wendling Watson, age 46, of Ellenboro, North Carolina, departed to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, North Carolina.  Born in Henderson County, North Carolina on October 20, 1973, she was the daughter of Deborah Price Wendling of Ellenboro and the late David George Wendling. 

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Aaron Wendling.

Jennifer loved her kids more than anything.  She was not only a mother and a daughter; she was a best friend to her daughter and her mother.  Jennifer took great pride in being a “Mimi” to her grandchildren; and spending time with her family, which did her heart good.  She was a member of The Place Fellowship Church in Fairview, North Carolina and loved her church family.

She is survived by her two children, Bailey Laughter (Matt) and Nathaniel Wendling; one brother, Rob “Tony” Wendling (Kriss); two grandchildren, Bentley Laughter and Isabella Laughter; one niece, Rachel Wendling; and one nephew, Aedan Wendling.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 31, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory.  A graveside service will follow the visitation at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Mike Anderson officiating.
