Jenesis Nevaeh Lynch

 Jenesis Nevaeh Lynch, 11, of Marion, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, at McDowell Hospital. 

 Jenesis was born in Burke County, NC on August 9, 2013, to Jessica Nicole Lynch and Keith Elliott Avery. She was very academically gifted. While Jenesis was a student at North Cove Elementary School, she earned multiple awards for academic achievements. She was on the safety patrol, was very openminded, and respected everyone. Jenesis was very creative and excelled with arts and crafts. She loved music and dancing, enjoyed traveling, and was an excellent cook. Jenesis was full of love and will be loved and remembered by all. 

 She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather; her maternal great grandparents; and paternal great grandparents. 

 Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Nicole Lynch of Marion; her father, Keith Avery of Morganton; her maternal grandparents, Betty Lynch and Johnny Lynch, Sr.; her paternal grandmother, Mary Mathews; two sisters, Arris Twitty (Morgan) and Tamara Corpening (Kymore); four brothers, Christopher Avery (Brianna), Julian Brittian, Nicholaus Brittian, and Kwantavious Hall; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

 A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Beam Family Celebration Center. Rev. Walter Pegues will officiate. Interment will follow at McDowell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the celebration center.
