Jeffrey Teaster

On the morning of Wednesday, June 16, 2021, Jeffrey Wayne Teaster passed away at Memorial Campus in Asheville. A native of McDowell County, Jeff was born on April 9, 1973 to the late Terry Teaster and Patricia Bartlett Thomas. Jeff enjoyed listening to rock music, reading and watching movies. He was a loving father, brother and grandfather. Jeff mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Keyla Rayn Teaster, one step-daughter, Ashley Pritchard and four siblings, Todd Teaster (Crissy), Olen McKinney (Desiree), Jason Teaster (Jennifer) and Crystal Page (Matthew). Also surviving Jeff are his step-grandchildren, Eli Miller and Maverick Pritchard. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service with Reverend Mark Lawing officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.
