Jeffery Allen Poole

Mr. Jeffery Allen Poole, age 45, of Marshall, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 in Asheville, North Carolina.  The son of Fred and Joan Metcalf Poole of Marshall, North Carolina, he was born in Madison County, North Carolina on December 18, 1974.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Charlie C. and Ida Bell Poole; and maternal grandfather Erlis Metcalf.

A loving father, son, and brother, Jeffery truly loved his children.  Having had a big heart and Carolina Tar Heels fan, he will be missed by all who knew him. 

Jeffery is survived by, in addition to his parents, his wife Jamie Poole, his five children, Devon Poole, Caleb Poole, Timothy Poole, Jacqueline Ray and Cole Wheeler; five siblings, Rev. Chuck Poole (Joyce), Fred Poole (Melanie), Cheryl Wright (Donnie), Rev. Scott Poole (Rhonda) and Mitch Poole (Buffy); maternal grandmother, Florence Metcalf; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Jeffery’s life will be held at a later date.
